Community Project Portfolio

Carlson Memorials, Inc. was established on August 1, 1976. While our primary business is memorialization, we have been involved in and supported many community, municipal, and public services locally and across the Western Slope. They have ranged from engraving John Denver’s songs and a variety of distinguished quotes on boulders at the John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen to restoring and repairing the George A. Crawford mausoleum in Grand Junction.

We also provide design, setting and engraving services for signs at public parks and cemeteries.

We are honored to be in a relationship with non-profit organizations like Hope West Hospice where we provide design, engraving and installation services on the Grand Junction, Delta, and Montrose locations.

We worked with the World War II Veteran’s Honor Flight to complete a memorial honoring World War II veterans at the Grand Junction Veteran’s Cemetery. The Rifle American Legion Kelley-Hanson Post 78 worked with us to create a veteran’s memorial in Rifle, CO that honors Garfield county veterans serving in all the modern American conflicts.

We are working with the Avalon Theatre Foundation to engrave fundraising pavers for their recently added terrace.
